This is a chronicle of my day job as an information officer of the Cebu Provincial Government with Governor Gwendolyn Garcia as local chief executive. I am a writer/reporter of the Capitol for “Sugbo News,” the official news arm of the Cebu Provincial Government, and some of my news stories and feature stories are put into video for “Balita sa Sugbo” newscast on Facebook and its YouTube channel.

I sit on the “court side” during Gov Gwen’s meetings and record these for news purposes. I also travel with the governor as she carries out her programs and projects in the province such as road openings and inaugurations, caravan of provincial government services such as the financial assistance to towns and component cities, dispersal of livestock for livelihood programs, turning over adaptive devices to the differently abled, among others.

About Me

I have 16 years of community journalism experience, aside from campus journalism stints as writer/editor for school publications. I also write biographies on a per-project basis and edit books produced by writers and non-writers alike.
